HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?
It’s easy! You simply reach out via my contact form and fill out a bit of information, and I will be in touch shortly. I can answer questions, make sure we are a good match and help choose a location as well. Once we have that all sorted and confirmed, I send over a short agreement form for you to review and sign. Once you sign tha and send over the deposit (see below), we are all set! I am always available to answer questions, provide more details and help in whatever way I can!
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL?
Life happens and sometimes Colorado weather can be a bit wild, so rescheduling is no problem. I also understand sometimes a cancellation is necessary. Please let me know as soon as you can if you need to do either as it helps me with my scheduling.
WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST?
I prefer to work with available natural light. It’s a creative choice that isn’t always possible, but if we are shooting outdoors the best light is right at sunrise or about 1.5 hours before sunset. Depending on the location, I will offer up a suggestion based on geographic orientation. If we are shooting inside or in an urban environment-anytime of day works just fine.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
Whenever you’d like. The earlier you reserve your photography session, the more time we will have to plan and coordinate. It also guarentees you that date and time on my calendar.
DO I CHOOSE A LOCATION FOR THE SHOOT?
You sure can! Especially if it’s somewhere near and dear to you or you find significant or particularly beautiful. Or perhaps you want me to come to your home or Airbnb which often works great for family photo sessions and sometimes intimate weddings and elopements.
With that being said, I am happy to help you choose your location based on what you’re looking for. I have a wealth of ideas from the adventurous hikes to the mellow mountain meadows and city parks, I’m always exploring and trying to find new interesting places that might not be on everyone’s radar.

Depending on the distance from Denver, there might be an additional fee which you can find more info about on my Pricing Page.
HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY?
For every photo session that is not a wedding/elopement, payment will be due by the end of our session. You are welcome to pay ahead of time as well. I accept Venmo, Zelle, check, cash & credit card.
HOW ABOUT FOR ELOPEMENTS/WEDDINGS?
With Elopements/Intimate Weddings, I require a 25% deposit at booking. The 25% deposit secures your date on my calendar and ensures I can fully commit that time to you. With family, lifestyle, engagements and headshots, I ask for a $50 deposit at the time of signing the short agreement form.
WHAT DO I WEAR FOR MY PHOTOSHOOT?
Deciding what to wear can be stressful! I get it. I’ve put together a seasonal clothing and outfit guide here to help you with some ideas and what to make sure to bring to stay warm, adaptable for the weather and looking great in front of the camera!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS & HOW MANY WILL I RECEIVE?
I work hard to get you your photos deliverd as quickly as I can, but I also want to make sure that I select and do a professional job with the edits checking color grading, consistency, and other subtle factors. Usually I get my photos back to you anywhere between one to two weeks. How many photos you receive will depend on the package you have selected. CAN I BRING MY DOG OR OTHER FRIENDS?
Of course! I’m absolutely love dogs and believe they are a great addition for any family photo session. And friends can come too and help me make you laugh and be natural as well :).
DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF THE DENVER AREA?
Yes! There are additional fees depending on distance from Denver you can find more information on my pricing page or contact me as well. I travel throughout Colorado and beyond. Simply send me a message to chat!
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
I’ll send your finished gallery through a Google Drive shareable folder.
All images come in high-resolution JPEG format, plus a subfolder of web-sized versions that are perfect for social media and online sharing.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH LARGER WEDDINGS?
I focus on small, intimate weddings and elopements. That’s where my personality, creative style, and attention to detail shine best. A small wedding is up to 50 total people.
I love being able to connect deeply, move with ease, and truly capture the magic moments that make your day unforgettable.
That being said if it’s for a larger wedding, I am open to setting up a phone or zoom call to chat and see if we are a good fit!
CAN YOU HELP ME ORDER PROFESSIONAL PRINTS FOR OUR WALLS?
Of course. Some of my packages include prints—you choose your favorites, and I handle the ordering and shipping directly to your door.
Quality matters to me. There are plenty of cheap online printers out there, but they often don’t do your photos justice.
I’m happy to recommend trusted professional labs that produce beautiful, lasting work worthy of your walls.
MY SPOUSE/CHILDREN/TEENAGER ISN’T INTO PHOTOS OR CAN GET CRANKY OR A BIT WILD… WHAT SHOULD I DO?
You’re not alone—this is so common, and I completely get it.
My approach is relaxed, natural, and never forced. I guide sessions with humor, patience, and flexibility so no one feels on the spot.
Whether it’s helping your partner loosen up, letting your toddler wander, or earning a laugh from your teen, I meet everyone where they’re at.
The best photos often come from those unplanned, in-between moments—when people are simply being themselves.
No pressure. No stiff poses. Just honest, connected moments as they unfold.
It helps when everyone comes prepared, present, and open. For kids, bring something familiar—a ball, favorite toy, or stuffed animal.
For a cranky spouse, maybe promise a drink or dinner afterward. And for teens, I keep things moving and give them space for breaks so they don’t feel in the spotlight the whole time.
CAN WE HIRE YOU TO TAKE PHOTOS OF A FAMILY ACTIVITY LIKE HIKING, BIKING, RAFTING, SKIING AND LIVING THAT ACTIVE COLORADO LIFESTYLE?
Of course! That’s my favorite kind of session—because I love to play outside too. I live the Colorado mountain lifestyle and have spent the past 15 years working as a guide in some of the most remote and wild parts of the world. Being active, exploring, and capturing families in their element is what lights me up.
Whether you're hiking a favorite trail, biking through alpine meadows, skiing fresh powder, or splashing through rapids, I’ll be there documenting the real, joyful, adventurous moments along the way.
